FAQs

  • Do you ship outside of the UK? Yes, I do! We use Royal Mail international delivery. You can choose standard or tracked. You can see our rates on the Delivery & Returns page. The only exception is Ireland, which I use DPD for.
  • Do you ship to the USA? Not currently, I'm sorry! As off 22nd August 2025 I have temporarily paused shipping to the USA whilst our postal systems work out their processes for the new Tariffs imposed on goods being imported into the USA. I will re-open shipping as soon as I can!
  • What are your UK shipping rates? I send everything by Royal Mail, with a flat rate of £3.25 for orders under £40 and FREE for orders over £40 (using code FREEPOST). This is the Tracked 48 services, which is fully trackable and should be with you within 2-3 working days of dispatch. 
    Alternatively, you can choose the Tracked 24 service, which aims to be with you the next working day after dispatch. 
  • Why did you stop offering normal 1st/2nd class post? 
    I was receiving a lot of "where are my orders?" queries, especially when using 2nd class mail. It's clear to me that trackability is important to customers so I am now only offering the Tracked services. 
  • Can I use 2 different discount codes at once (e.g. free shipping and a welcome discount)?
    I'm afraid not! As a tiny business, my margins are small and I simply cannot afford to give that much of a discount. Please ensure you're choosing the the code which will give you the best discount for your order though :-) 
  • How long will it take to get my order? I aim to post items within 1-2 working days (Monday-Friday), so if you're in the UK, it should be 1-2 days after that, if you're in Europe 3-5 days after that or if you're in the rest of the world 5-7 days after that.
  • I need something quickly! And guaranteed! We don't currently offer guaranteed next day delivery as standard, but if you're in a desperate rush, drop us an email/message and we'll see what we can do. 
  • I'm in the EU - will you charge VAT at checkout? Please note that we do not charge VAT for EU countries at checkout and therefore you may be subject to additional local VAT/Customs charges upon delivery, as of 1st July 2021.
  • Do you have a loyalty scheme? Yes, you can find out all about the Pencil Points Club here. 
  • What's your returns policy? I accept returns in their original condition and packaging for refund/exchange within 14 days. You can find full details here
  • Do you ever trade at markets? Yes! I occasionally appear at shows, markets, or Pop Up Shops, so you can shop from us IRL. You can find information about any upcoming events on our Markets and Shows page
